How to play
The basics
Rank5 gives you a new category every day. Your job is to rank 5 items in the correct order from highest (#1) to lowest (#5). One puzzle per day, resets at midnight EST.
Regular mode
All 5 items are shown at once. Drag and drop them into the order you think is correct. When you’re happy with your ranking, hit Submit. You get one attempt a day. No retries.
Scoring: 1 point for each item placed in the exact correct position. Maximum score: 5/5.
Blind mode
Items appear one at a time. You must place each item into one of the 5 slots before the next one is revealed. Once placed, it’s locked. No going back.
Blind mode is more challenging and isn’t available every day. When it is, look for the Blind card on the home screen or on your results screen after completing regular mode.
Scoring: Same as regular: 1 point per exact correct placement. Maximum: 5/5.
Sharing your score
After completing a puzzle, your results screen shows a Share button. Tap it to copy your score to clipboard and paste it anywhere to challenge friends.
Tips
- In regular mode, start with the items you’re most confident about, then fill in the rest.
- In blind mode, think about the full range before placing. Your first placement sets the scale.
- Play both modes each day for double the challenge.
